What’s the difference between the regular and the XL cartridges?
Some manufactures offer a regular/standard cartridge and a XL/high yield version. There are two main differences between them:
#1 The amount of ink in the cartridge. There can sometimes be as much as three times the ink.
#2 The price of the cartridge. Most of the time the cost is twice as much but you may end up with three times then ink.
In the long run we recommend buying the xl/high yield cartridges as unlike 10 years ago manufactures are placing less and less ink in the cartridges.
Some manufactures put way less ink in the cartridge so the price is less.
